The Diary Of Anne Frank
All But My Life

The Diary of Anne Frank is a diary written by a little girl in the holocaust hiding from Nazi officials during the reign of Hitler. Anne Franks diary gives the reader an overall feeling of hope and the will to continue to preserver through adversity. By applying this philosophy of perseverance in ones own life anyone can achieve their many aspirations and dreams.

All But My Life is an autobiography written by another woman living during WWII in the holocaust. Gerda Weissman Klein endured many trials and tribulations until finally being set free by American soldiers. This story of Gerda's life gives the reader a tone of despair and anguish, a part of the story that resonated with me is when Gerda's friend writes her a letter. The woman is in mass hysterics and describes seeing her dead family in the mass graves that were used to execute innocent people.
